Why Pre-Load?

For long stages, such as a 28-round stage, the standard caddy capacity may not provide enough ammo reserve. Pre-Load allows you to prepare an additional 9 shells before the start signal.

Without Pre-Load Caddy

Before the start signal, you load your shotgun from an ammo box.

The range officer holds the box for you while you load.

You need assistance from the range officer.

With Pre-Load Caddy

You prepare 9 shells in advance.

The shells are ready in the Pre-Load Caddy.

You don't need assistance from the range officer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of shells can be used with the caddy?

The Pre-Load Caddy is designed for 12-gauge shotgun shells. Thanks to its design, which holds the shells by the rim of the shell base, shell length is not important for compatibility. The caddy can be used with different lengths of 12-gauge shotgun shells.

Which belt is suitable for this caddy?

The caddy can be used with any belt that meets the maximum dimensions specified in the product specifications.

For IPSC and other practical shooting disciplines, a sturdy belt that does not twist is recommended, such as a standard two-piece IPSC belt.

Can the caddy angle be adjusted?

No, the angle of the Pre-Load Caddy is not user-adjustable. The angle is fixed by the design of the caddy and set to allow comfortable access to the shells.

Can the shell retention be adjusted?

No, the shell retention is not user-adjustable. However, this is not necessary with this caddy, as it is not intended for use during shooting itself, but primarily for preparing the shells before the start signal. It can also be used after shooting as storage for the shells when unloading.

How durable is the caddy?

The Pre-Load Caddy is made from durable plastic designed for repeated use during training and competition. Thanks to its design, where nothing significantly protrudes or is exposed to snagging on surrounding objects, mechanical damage during normal use is very rare.

What is the temperature resistance of the caddy?

The caddy is made of heat-resistant plastic designed for general outdoor use, including exposure to sunlight. The manufacturer states a temperature resistance of approximately 80 °C.

The caddy is, of course, not intended to be exposed to extreme temperatures, such as near an engine or other source of intense heat.
